It’s the cultural icon of Tijuana and the state. Here, many festivals are held throughout the year and among their attractions you can find the OMNIMAX theatre, theatre, aquarium, Museo de las Californias, film club, seasonal expositions at Museo del Cubo with 3 floors, where you’ll often see work from international artist.


 


 

CASA DE LA CULTURA ALTAMIRA DE TIJUANA


It’s one of the most representative buildings of Tijuana. Built in 1930, but it wasn’t until 1977 it because an art house, where there’s regular workshops for different artistic techniques, as well as a theatre and galleries.


 


 

IMAC


Located in the heart of the city’s downtown area. Among the hustle and bustle and markets, you’ll find this local historic landmark, where there’s several museographer spaces to show off local, regional and international art. The Museo de Historia de Tijuana (Tijuana History Museum) is also located here.

MULTIFORO DEL ICBC


One of the oldest cultural places in the city, where you’ll find the city gallery, showcasing national and international artists’ work.


 


 

DOWNTOWN CULTURAL PASAJES (CORRIDORS)


Pasaje Rodriguez, Pasaje Gomez and Plaza Revolucion make up a re-making of spaces project, local artists taking over corridors that were once businesses, and then later abandoned. There’s cultural expositions, local designs, as well as craft beer tasting and coffee shops.
